About Free Comic Book Day:
Free Comic Book Day is an annual celebration of comic books and their readers. Hosted on the first Saturday in May, the celebration’s purpose is three-fold. First, the event serves as a chance to introduce everyone to the joys of reading comics, second, to call back former comic book readers and third, to thank current comic book readers for their continued support.
